System

Navigate to System section

Once you have opened the Home screen of the SICON.OS interface:

On the navigation panel click on Settings to open the System management section.

Settings > System

On the System management settings page, you will find the sub header menu which include the following menus:

  • Status

  • License

  • Remote Support

  • System Update

  • System Controls

Let´s have a look one-by-one.

Status

On the status page, you will have the following information:

  • Managed Mode: It shows you your device status whether your device is active on SICON.SERVICE, SICON.Hub, SICON.REMOTE, SICON.CONNECT

    • SICON.SERVICE : Allow automatic download of device files IODDs, SDDs, PIM, Documents and more..

    • SICON.Hub : Allow to get latest version and update SICON.OS

    • SICON.REMOTE : Allow access for support team to read logs and check health status.

    • SICON.CONNECT : Send Process Data to external cloud services.

  • Installation information: Here you will get the device information like Type, Article no., UID, Serial no., P-Code, License Key and validity.

  • System information: Here you can see the information like system storage, RAM.

  • Device information: Here you can see how many devices are connected or disconnected.

  • Data Count: It shows you the information like how many times your device is reporting, no. of Replay, no. of Events.

License

Here you will get the information about the License like License Key, name of product, status, validity and services.

Remote Support

Here you can change the Remote Access settings, you can add customer information, operator information and comment (if any).

System Update

Here you can see the information about your current version and new version (if available).

Update

Click on Update now to update and the system will get update to the new version.

Changelog

On right side, you can see the information about the versions with Bug Fixes.

System Controls

Here you can control certain system settings via enable or disable the connection to external SICON services:

  • SICON.SERVICE : User can control automatic download of device files IODDs, SDDs, PIM, Documents and more..

  • SICON.HUB : Allow to get latest version and update SICON.OS

  • SICON.REMOTE : Control access for support team to read logs and check health status.

  • SICON.CONNECT : Send Process Data to external cloud services.

On the right side, you can see the Restart and Shutdown options.

  • Click on Restart to restart SICON gateway and services.

  • Click on Shutdown to Power off SICON gateway and deactivate services.
